Layer 1 blockchain Pharos has unveiled its AtlanticOcean testnet, marking a critical step toward bridging billions in real-world asset (RWA) liquidity to onchain markets. The upgrade introduces modular architecture enhancements, boosting throughput via hybrid parallel execution—a fusion of DAG-based and Block-STM V1 models.

With 3 billion transactions already processed since May, Pharos positions itself at the forefront of RWA tokenization. The testnet mirrors mainnet functionality, including a 1B-token PoS system for staking and governance. As the RWA sector eyes trillion-dollar valuations, Pharos’ infrastructure aims to capture early institutional demand.
